Courtney Faith Vera

She co-founded the nonprofit program Celebrate the Military Child with the SFC Jared C. Monti Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc. on April 5, 2011. She works directly with the military families, corporate sponsors, and volunteers to make sure that every celebration is worthy of the children it is honoring. She works with celebrities to bring awareness to the public of the many children whose parent are deployed overseas. She works full time in law, she’s a baby product expert to the celebrities, she writes a blog,  FaVeMom.com, and has a huge following. Associated with the United States Armed Forces her entire life, first as a Marine Corp “brat” and now as the wife of a Company Commander with the California Army National Guard. She currently lives with her husband Ray, two children, Lindy and Eli Brady and her dog Colt.

She has a column on the Lake Elsinore-Wildomar Patch called For My Soldiers. She previously held the position of the Family Readiness Group Leader for the 79th Brigade Special Troops Battalion and Bravo Company, 79th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, she works to bring awareness to the public about military service men and women and their families.

On December 4, 2010, she received The California Commendation Medal for meritorious achievement. She is actively involved with Operation Shower, the “Welcome Me Home” Project with Michelle Penn, and the Appleseed Project held throughout Southern California. In addition, she is a Family Assistance Network Specialist Volunteer with Operation Ready Families and works full time at a law firm in Southern California. Although her favorite color is “Military Intelligence Dark Blue, she is very attracted to “Joint Support Services Purple” too. She also serves on the Board of Directors.
